Resumen de La competencia lingüística como eje clave para el aprendizaje de las ciencias en educación primaria: aplicación al caso de mezclas cotidianas

  El contexto actual de la enseñanza, caracterizado por los importantes cambios e innovaciones últimamente realizadas, demanda del profesorado, como elemento fundamental del cambio educativo, unas pautas de acción y un rol que contribuyan a preparar a las alumnas y alumnos para comprender la sociedad en la que se desenvuelven, así como a desarrollar la capacidad de analizar y valorar críticamente su entorno. En este sentido, hemos analizado en este trabajo la influencia que puede tener el proceso de comunicación, centrado en una correcta expresión oral y escrita por parte del alumnado para el aprendizaje eficiente de las ciencias en la educación primaria, en nuestro caso concretado en el contenido de mezclas cotidianas. Se describen los instrumentos de exploración utilizados y se da respuesta a cuestiones clave como ¿qué hemos encontrado?, ¿qué valoración hacemos? y, finalmente, qué conclusiones y principales implicaciones hemos obtenido

  The practice of communication has existed since ancient times and is sure to continue until the end of time, since humans are social beings and therefore will always have an innate need to communicate and interact among themselves. In order to describe and interpret observations, you have to know how to express yourself, both orally and by writing, through participating in debates, elaborating reports, forming conclusions and using rich and varied vocabulary; thus being able to mark a differentiation of concepts. In this study we have collected the results from a school intervention in which we have investigated the level of oral and written participation by elementary pupils. We will describe the methods used to carry out this investigation and to answer key questions such as “What are the findings?”, “How can we assess these?” and “What conclusions can be drawn? In addition we outline the future line of action we would propose with regards to learning more about the practice of communication. We have tried to limit the influence, which a process of communication centered on a correct form of oral and written expression for children can have on learning different subjects in primary school
