    Ciudad Juárez es una metrópoli fronteriza al norte de México que colinda con Estados Unidos conocida por ser víctima de una serie de acciones violentas y delictivas, sobre todo entre el período 2007 al 2012, que coartaron el desarrollo social y cultural de la región.  Simultáneamente, surgen colectivos artísticos y creadores que focalizan sus esfuerzos en una voluntad reconstructiva de la urbe a través de la expresión gráfica, tomando a la ciudad como proyecto y soporte de sus prácticas e incorporando una dimensión humana mediante la sensibilización de la ciudadanía.  Estrategas y disidentes que mostrarán en sus creaciones otras construcciones de lo político a partir de sus representaciones en lo cotidiano.

    Ciudad Juárez is a border metropolis in northern Mexico that shares a boundary with the United States, which is known to be the victim of a series of violent and criminal acts, especially between 2007 and 2012, which restricted the social and cultural development of the region. Simultaneously, emerge artistic groups and creators that focus their efforts on a reconstructive will of the city through graphic expression, taking the city as a project and support of their practices, and incorporating a human dimension through the sensitization of citizens. They will be strategists and dissidents who will show in their creations other constructions of politics from their representations in the everyday.
