Desde las diferentes descripciones de sus montes y apeos, hasta adentrarnos en los numerosos pleitos que han existido por su aprovechamiento. Los guardas que los vigilaban con sus nombramientos es un capítulo a destacar, así como el control y comercialización de la leña. Otro punto reseñable es el carboneo, importante actividad que se desarrolló hasta la segunda mitad del siglo XX. También se hace una pequeña mención a la caza y los incendios.
Un trabajo que quiere dar a conocer la importancia del monte que junto con la agricultura y la ganadería fueron los pilares de la economía albalateña en tiempos pasados.
