La conversión de n-pentano y su selectividad hacia la isomerización son afectadas por cambios en la acidez del catalizador. Para este estudio se utilizó como soporte el sólido mesoporoso MCM-41, al cual se le incorporó Pt por el método de intercambio iónico en estado sólido, y el ácido tungstenofosfórico (H3[P(W3O10)4]× H2O (HPW)) en solución alcohólica. Las pruebas catalíticas se llevaron a cabo a 350ºC en flujo de hidrógeno. El catalizador se caracterizó mediante las siguientes técnicas: DRX, Adsorción de N2, MET, TPD-NH3 y Difracción de electrones. La mayor actividad se obtuvo cuando se utilizó el catalizador 30%HPW/70%(1%Pt/MCM-41).
Conversion of n-pentane and selectivity to isomerisation are affected by changes in the acidity of the catalyst. In this study, the mesoporous MCM-41was used as the support, and Pt was incorporated by the method of solid-state ion exchange, and tungsten phosphoric acid (H3 [P (W3O10) 4] × H2O (HPW)) in alcohol solution. The catalytic tests were carried out at 350 °C in hydrogen flow. The catalyst was characterized by the following techniques: XRD, N2 adsorption, TEM, TPD-NH3 and electron diffraction. The 30% HPW/70% (1%Pt/MCM-41) was the most active.
