Homicídios passionais e suas diferentes narrativas

    Este artigo teve como objetivo analisar as discrepâncias entre a narrativa de homens que mataram suas companheiras e as informações sobre o crime contidas nos documentos judiciais. Participaram três homens condenados pelo homicídio qualificado de suas companheiras. Com base no procedimento de estudo de casos múltiplos, foram realizadas quatro entrevistas semiestruturadas com cada participante. Também foram analisados os processos de execução criminal, os inquéritos policiais, os depoimentos de testemunhas e fotografias. Os relatos dos autores dos crimes continham informações, motivações e elementos diversos dos apresentados pelos demais documentos analisados. Tais discrepâncias foram discutidas, considerando-se questões relativas ao processamento da memória de todos os envolvidos, as falsas memórias, as distorções cognitivas e os diferentes interesses e perspectivas no contexto do sistema judiciário. A inexistência de uma narrativa congruente e a impossibilidade de apreensão de uma verdade única sobre os crimes ocorridos também foram problematizadas.

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the discrepancies between the accounts by men who killed their lovers and the information contained in legal documents about their crimes. Three men convicted of the firstdegree murder of their lovers were interviewed. Based on the multiple case study procedure, three semi-structured interviews were conducted with each convict. We also analyzed their court records, police reports, witness statements, and photographs. The accounts by perpetrators of crimes contained information, motivations, and elements that differed from those found in the other documents analyzed. Such discrepancies were discussed, considering questions regarding the processing of the memory of all those involved, false memories, cognitive distortions and different interests and perspectives in the context of the judicial system. The absence of a coherent narrative and the seizure of the impossibility of a single truth about the crimes occurred were also problematized.
