A few years ago, in order to bring the resolution of problems to a good end, accounting machines and data processing machines always needed the intervention of specialist called "programmers", thus compelling the person who had formulated the problem to transmit the necessary information to the specialist of the machine.
Experience proves that this transmission is always difficult and presents some surprises during the resolution of the problem. It is the person who has formulated the problem who should program it.
To facilitate the job, different techniques have been developed such as: symbolic language, interpretative language, and compilative language. The practical results of these different methods stated on the 650 of the Brussels' DPC are mentioned in an attached table.
