    Ante la creciente complejidad del sistema energético y el desarrollo de una nueva doctrina sobre seguridad energética en el ámbito de la Alianza Atlántica, los grandes avances experimentados en psicología y neurociencia aplicadas al campo de la guerra psicológica suponen un nuevo reto para la protección del sector energético y los intereses nacionales y aliados asociados al mismo. Por lo tanto, el potencial de afectación de la seguridad energética por la acción psicológica dirigida desde un planeamiento de índole militar –tanto en conflictos híbridos como en tiempo de paz– requiere tener presente una serie de consideraciones preventivas y reactivas apropiadas.

    In sight of the growing complexity of the energy system and the development of a new doctrine about Energy Security in the framework of the Atlantic Alliance, the great advances experienced in Psychology and Neuroscience applied to the field of Psychological Warfare mean a new challenge for protection of energy sector and the national and allied interests related to it. Therefore, the potential affectation of the Energy Security from the psychological action addressed from a military-styled planning -in hybrid conflicts as in peacetime- implies to have in mind several preventive and reactive considerations accurate to the case
