Precious metal jewelry excavated in the anaktoron at Torre di Satriano.
In the building known as anaktoron in Torre Satriano (Potenza), among the many finds that enable a reconstruction of the sequence of the occupation of the site during the Archaic period, were two jewels. These comprise portions of a necklace in gold leaf, and a silver brooch with a bird–shaped bow. In the article these personal adornments are contextualized as to their pertinent classes of manufacture also on the basis of scientific analyses.
