To the Editor The randomized clinical trial comparing video laryngoscopy with direct laryngoscopy found no between-group difference in successful first-pass intubation rates in patients in the intensive care unit (ICU), but concluded that use of video laryngoscopy was associated with higher rates of severe life-threatening complications.1 There are several issues we would like to highlight about the methods used and the statistical analysis.
