  • Meteorologists are used to combining observations from different sources to get the information they need; the means for integrating data are various. The present paper reviews the most important: international cooperation programmes based on technical and managerial structures, composite observing systems and networks putting together different kinds of sensors, numerical models, interactive information and processing systems.
