  • Could further reflection, from a juridical and historic point of view, over 9/11 attacks in New York after the initial shock and image overexposure, better explain how to combine citizens safety and the protection of inviolable rights, under the terrorism threat? At that time the American answer on American grounds, which was broadly shared by the majority of countries around the world, was a limitation of civil rights (Patriot Act 26, Octr 2001); in the rest of the world, the answer were the preventive wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Could the contribution of jurisprudence help in the pursue of another approach?
