Se trata de un estudio que nos va llevando por la historia de los cincuenta años de la Escuela de Comunicación Social de la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. Pero es algo más que la historia de una escuela universitaria, es una retrospectiva de cómo la Escuela de Comunicación Social de la UCAB ha visto a sus comunicadores desde la formación que ha impartido, y también es una prospectiva que mira al futuro, hacia dónde tiene que mirar esa Escuela a pesar de los escollos que impone la institución universitaria ucabista. Se trata de una visión de futuro optimista, porque así se ha ido imponiendo la Escuela de Comunicación de la UCAB en el tiempo. Y cincuenta años no es poca cosa.

It’s a study that leads us trough the history of fifty years of the school of social communication of the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. But it´s something more than the history of a college, it is a retrospective of how the school of social communication of the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello has seen its journalists from the training given, but it’s also a prospective that looks to the future from where the school has to look, despite the barriers college impose. It’s about a vision towards the future, because that’s how the school of social communication of the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello has imposed through time. And fifty years aren’t much.
