  • The article reports that the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Met), in New York City, has acquired the complete archives of U.S. photographer Diane Arbus. The author explains that some of the materials, which were donated by Arbus' estate and include photographs, negatives, and personal papers, were featured in a traveling exhibition that appeared at the Met in 2005. The Met plans to preserve and catalog the collection for use by scholars and artists and for exhibit to the general public.
