    Las migraciones son un fenómeno estructural de la Unión Europea. Para mejorar las políticas migratorias, es necesario garantizar el estatus de refugiado para aquellos que temen ser perseguidos: es una obligación internacional. A un año de la «crisis de refugiados», las llegadas a Europa son constantes, independientemente del cierre de fronteras. Así pues, ante la evidencia de que los migrantes y refugiados seguirán siendo víctimas de violaciones de derechos humanos, tanto en Libia como en Turquía;

    Europa tiene que concienciarse de que la protección de los refugiados es fundamental para la continuidad de la UE como proyecto integrador e inclusivo para el mundo.

    Migration is a structural phenomenon of the European Union. In order to improve migration policies, it is necessary to guarantee refugee status for those who fear persecution: It is an international obligation. One year after the «refugees’ crisis», the arrivals to Europe are regular, regardless of borders closures. Thus, given the evidence that migrants and refugees will continue to be victims of human rights violations, in Libya and Turkey; Europe must be aware that the protection of refugees it is essential for the continuity of the EU as an integrative and inclusive project for the world.
