  • This article looks at scientific experiments that seek to act like nature. When a human body gets a cut, the body starts mending the wound immediately and Nancy R. Sottos and Scott R. White are working on getting synthetic materials to copy that behavior. Nature also has self-assembly and scientists Benoit Roman and José Bico used the concept to make tiny origami cubes from the surface tension of evaporating water droplets.
