  • This article reports on the search for more information about time and why it only flows in one direction. A conference of theoretical physicists and cosmologists met to try to get some insight into how time works. The basic laws of the universe are time-symmetrical but in physics, the past, future and present exist simultaneously. A history of the science of time is offered along with the difficulties of really understanding it.
