Resumen de Signs of a Green Revolution.

David Biello

  • This article reports on the growth of food production in sub-Saharan Africa. The World Bank says agricultural growth in the area went up 3.8 percent between 2002 and 2005 and has cut poverty rates in some of the countries. The success comes as a result of better weather and help from the United Nations for a "green revolution." There are concerns that a growing demand for biofuels could result in hunger for the people.
