  • The article discusses Sir Fred Hoyle's contribution to astrophysics and his 1954 paper explaining how supernovae seeded new star systems. That paper has been ignored, according to the article, because Hoyle forgot to include a simple equation. It also contends that some of Hoyle more unusual ideas cost him a possible Nobel Prize.
