La interacción docente-estudiante en el aula: una visión humanizada de la educación

    Objetivo: establecer una aproximación a los significados que los profesores desde su quehacer le otorgan a la relación con los estudiantes.

    Metodología: estudio cualitativo con método fenomenológico-hermenéutico que analiza la experiencia de los profesores del Colegio María Goretti de Manizales en el servicio de secundaria para adultos. Se utilizaron entrevistas individuales y un grupo focal.

    Hallazgos: la lectura psicopedagógica sobre la práctica en la formación de estudiantes adultos evidencia la conveniencia de una humanización concreta, explícita, práctica y observacional en la interacción entre profesor y estudiante.

    Conclusiones: la praxis pedagógica aun responde a una lógica tradicionalista y poco flexible; es importante reconocer la importancia del ciclo vital en la educación de adultos; y es necesario aprender a ver a los estudiantes como interlocutores válidos en la dinámica socioeducativa.

    Objective: to establish an estimate to the connotations given by teachers to their relationship with students in their daily activity.

    Methodology: a qualitative study with a phenomenological hermeneutical research method that analyzes the experience of teachers who work at the educational institution María Goretti in Manizales city, a school in which adults are doing their secondary school studies. To gather the information needed for this study, individual interviews and focus groups were utilized.

    Findings: the psycho-pedagogical analysis regarding the pedagogical task with adult students reveals the importance of a solid, explicit, practical and verifiable humanization in the teacher-student interaction.

    Conclusions: the pedagogical praxis still responds to a traditional and strict logic; it is imperative to highlight the importance of the vital cycle of education in adults as well as it is necessary to learn how to see students as a valid counterpart in the socio-educational dynamics.
