  • A news brief is presented, summarizing a report in the May 2008 issue of "Nature Reviews Cancer" on the fusion of tumor cells with white blood cells, thought to be the way cancer metastasizes. In cancer patients who received bone marrow transplants, genes from the marrow's white blood cells were found in the patient's tumor cells.
