  • The article focuses on research into the brains of ice hockey players and fans, showing that parts of their brains involved in planning and controlling physical actions are used to help understand language involved in the sport. University of Chicago researchers used functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) on hockey players and fans, revealing that they were better at understanding sentences about hockey actions.
