Resumen de Impeachment e imagem pública: uma análise do discurso vazado de Michel Temer

  Amid the turbulent Brazilian political conjuncture post-2014, this research analyzes the public image building carried out by the vice-president, Michel Temer. The sample analyzed is an audio of a hypothetical speech which was leaked to the press and deals with the country’s challenges that would be faced by his eventual mandate. Based on the qualitative analysis of auditoriums and argumentative techniques proposed by Perelman and Olbrechts-Tyteca (2014), we evaluated the hypothesis that Temer tries to detach his public image from that of Dilma Rousseff’s government.

  Em meio à conturbada conjuntura política brasileira pós-2014, esta pesquisa realiza uma análise da construção de imagem pública realizada pelo então vice-presidente da República, Michel Temer. O corpus de análise é um áudio contendo um hipotético discurso vazado à imprensa, que versa sobre os desafios do país em seu eventual mandato. Com base na análise qualitativa de auditórios e técnicas argumentativas propostas por Perelman e Olbrechts-Tyteca (2014), avaliamos a hipótese de que Temer tenta descolar sua imagem pública daquela do governo de Dilma Rousseff.
