    Este artículo explora las relaciones entre historia, memoria y literatura (ficción) y entre pasado, presente y futuro en tres novelas latinoamericanas, caribeñas y españolas publicadas entre 1995 y 2009, cuyo carácter conflictivo, contradictorio y a veces violento configura y determina los desafíos y límites de los trabajos y narrativas de la memoria. Apunta a hacer visible la dimensión futura de la memoria en la escritura sobre el pasado traumático reciente y se ocupa de sus repercusiones genéricas en la narrativa misma. Se pregunta por el papel de las narrativas de la memoria, en particular la literatura de ficción, en las actuales batallas de la memoria señalando que los textos mismos son campos de batalla

    This article explores the relations between memory, history and literature (fiction) and between past, memory and future in three Latin American, Caribbean and Spanish novels published between 1995 and 2009, whose conflictive, contradictory and sometimes violent character configures and determines the challenges of the work and narratives of memory. It aims at visualizing the future dimension of memory in the writing of the recent traumatic past and deals with its generic repercussions in the texts. It stresses the role of memory narratives, particulary of fiction literature, in the current battles of memory and considers the texts themselves as battlefields.
