    En este artículo se propone reconstruir algunas de las maneras mediante las cuales la criminología positivista —en tanto constituía un saber consagrado académicamente y en cuanto ocupaba un importante lugar institucional-estatal— definió y conceptualizó las relaciones entre inmigración y delincuencia en el contexto de la gran inmigración masiva de la ciudad de Buenos Aires. En este sentido, este artículo constituye una síntesis de un conjunto de indagaciones y abordajes que, recientemente y desde la historiografía, han problematizado la cuestión criminal en Argentina, y más específicamente el lugar asignado a la criminología positivista. A este respecto, se presenta un panorama por algunos de los trabajos de Ricardo D. Salvatore, Eugenia Scarzanella, Lila Caimari y Máximo Sozzo, a la manera en que permite una mirada en conjunto de las reflexiones que estos autores produjeron en torno a los vínculos entre criminología positivista y el nexo inmigración-delincuencia.

    The aim of this article is to reconstruct some of the manners through which positivist criminology – as it constituted an academically consecrated knowledge and bearing in mind it occupied a relevant institutional place among the state – defined and conceptualized, in the context of the great massive immigration and geographically bounded to the sphere of the City of Buenos Aires, the relations between immigration and crime. In this sense, this article constitutes a synthesis of a group of inquiries and perspectives that, recently and from historiography, have problematized the criminal question in Argentina, and more specifically, the place assigned to positivist criminology. To this regard, an account of some of the works of Ricardo D. Salvatore, Eugenia Scarzanella, Lila Caimari and Máximo Sozzo will be provided, in the way of allowing an overall insight into the reflections that these authors produced on the relation between positivist criminology and the immigrationcrime nexus.
