Resumen de Retórica del pueblo: narcisismo y fetichismo. Laclau, lector de Freud

El objetivo de este artículo es presentar un análisis de las categorías propuestas por Laclau −atendiendo a conceptos tales como pueblo, hegemonía, cadena equivalencial o demanda, retórica y diferencia− para abordar, y al mismo tiempo articular, aquello que dice Freud respecto a la psicología social y el estudio del narcisismo. Por consiguiente, la tesis que sostiene este artículo dice relación con las formas contemporáneas de subjetividad colectiva a la luz del fetichismo neoliberal de la producción del goce sublimado en la figura de líder, donde dicha significación opera como el significante vacío que representa, mediante retoricas de desplazamiento, una totalidad fallida.

The aim of this article is to present an analysis of the categories proposed by Laclau - attending to such concepts as people, hegemony, chain equivalencies or demand, rhetoric and difference - to approach, and at the same time to articulate, that one that Freud says about the social psychology and the study of the narcissism. Consequently, the thesis that supports this article says relation with the contemporary forms of collective subjectivity in the light of the neoliberal fetishism of the production of the possession sublimated in the leader's figure, where the above mentioned significance operates as the significant emptiness that represents, by means of rhetoric of displacement, one unsuccessful whole.
