  • Resumen
    • Further east, Myanmar (Burma) has 1,930km of uninterrupted coastline along the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea. As the country's military rulers begin to embrace international trade, Myanmar's GDP is growing.

"Heading to India, we see a rise in the number of Capesize vessels alongside a reduction in the number of Large Handy and Handymax vessels. In China, a similar trend can be seen with Panamax vessels replacing Supramax and Ultramax vessels," he added.

An increasing openness will hopefully boost Cambodia's export of minerals. In 2006, Cambodia listed only salt as its exploitable industrial mineral but today it lists dolomite, graphite and fluorspar as 'discovered'.
