Resumen de Associação de diretores e ex-diretores das escolas públicas de Maceió: mito ou verdade?

  This study constitutes an analysis of the role of the Association of Directors and former Directors of Public Schools of Maceio (ADEEPAM). The main objective that guided the research was to analyze the organizational structure of the Association including the reasons for its creation and its performance today. The research was qualitative in nature and involved semi-structured interviews. The results showed that the association had an increasing role in the 90s of the twentieth century, especially the defense of particularized interests of the segment during the discussions and implementation of the direct election of directors and term of office of the institution in public schools of the capital of Alagoas . The results show that this association is not known by most education professionals and have a very limited involvement in defining the municipality's education course, not being recognized as legitimate by the Labor Union in Alagoas Education - SINTEAL.

  O presente trabalho se constitui em uma análise sobre o papel da Associação de Diretores e Ex-Diretores das Escolas Públicas de Maceió (ADEEPAM). O objetivo principal que orientou a pesquisa foi analisar a estrutura organizacional da Associação compreendendo os motivos de sua criação e sua atuação nos dias atuais. A pesquisa foi de cunho qualitativo e contou com entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os resultados mostraram que a associação teve um papel mais marcante nos anos 90 do século XX, com destaque para a defesa de interesses particularizados do segmento quando das discussões e implementação da eleição direta de diretores e instituição do tempo de mandato na rede municipal da capital alagoana. Os resultados mostram que a referida associação não é conhecida pela maioria dos profissionais da educação e tem uma participação muito reduzida na definição dos rumos da educação do município, não sendo reconhecida como legítima pelo Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Educação de Alagoas – SINTEAL.
