    Zambia is Africa's largest producer of copper and also hosts significant deposits of limestone in the country's central and eastern provinces, silica sand and feldspar at Kapiri Mposhi, as well as phosphate and dolomite.

    Egypt is to build a new "phosphate industrial zone" representing an investment of Egyptian pound (EPounds ) 3.3bn ($461.5m*) in Aswan, it was announced in January.
