After a brief survey of recent studies on Ugaritic names (§ 1), the previously unnoticed match between an Egyptian name in the Ugaritic texts in syllabic spelling and its alphabetic equivalent is established (§2), Then, several recently published names are discussed, for which some meanings are proposed, and additional syllabic equivalents are identified (§3). A set of names whose components are interchangeable is also presented (§4); this includes a discussion of reversible names (§4.1), reversible names with and without enclitic "-m" (§4.2). Ugaritic names reversed in other Semitic names (§4.3) and the vocalisation of the Ugaritic PN "ilmlk" (§4.4). Finally, a few names occurring only in syllabic spellings are considered (§5), followed by a short overall evaluation (§6)
