Resumen de The role of the repetitive electronic differential analyser

R. Tomovich

  • The paper deals with the role of repetitive differential analysers in analog computation. More specifically, only repetitive machines of purely electronic design, without servomechanisms and chopper stabilized operational amplifiers, are taken into consideration.

Limitations on the size and accuracy of this type of analog installations are outlined, as well as their advantages. Characteristic applications of these computers are also listed.

It is shown that the use of transistors, especially as switching elements for non linear computation, can further increase the practical value of repetitive electronic differential analysers.
