A 6-year old cat was referred to veterinary hospital for a chronic recurrent axillary wound treated by first and second intention for the las 3 years. There was complete healing of the wound using a thoraco-dorsal pouch flap. Management of axillary wounds in chats is often a therapeutic challenge for veterinary surgeons. The origin of the delayed healing is unknown, chich makes its management difficult. The use of advanced cutaneous plasty techniques is sometimes necessary.
Un chat âgé de 6 ans est référé en centre hospitalier pour une plaie axillaire chronique récidivante traitée par première et seconde intention depuis 3 ans. Une fermeture par un lambeau thoraco-dorsal associé à ne épiploïsation a permis une cicatrisation complète de la plaie. La gestion des plaies axillaires chez le chat fait partie des défis thérapeutiques pour le chirurgien. L'origine de ce retard à la cicatrisation est inconnue, ce qui rend sa gestion difficile. Le recours à des techniques de plastie cutanée avancées est parfois nécessaire.
