    The first book of Codex Theodosianus contains certain provisions that regulate, in a different way, resources. These constitutions, transposed into Breviary of Alaric, be accompanied by Interpretationes that, however, reveal differences, which do not seem to be piecemeal or accidents but revealing a consistent ratio. Looking at the comments, in fact, it can be assumed that the Breviary of Alaric conceived the lex as an abstract and general category, which was to have the requirement of knowledgeability. Disappear constitutions, under the expressive profille, and are absorbed, in the content, of the lex.

    The combination leges et iura in Interpretatio is partly different from the Theodosian Code; in fact, the so-called case law is of first-order importance in the comments that often reveal a closeness to it rather than the imperial buildings.

    The distance, either territorial or ideally, by the Empire in the East is revealed in all Interpretationes, which passed in judicial practice, in the notary and in subsequent laws and constitute regulatory models for the next legal experience.

    Come noto, il primo libro del Codex Thodosianus contiene alcune disposizioni che regolamentano, in diverso modo, varie fonti normative. Tali costituzioni, recepite nella Lex Romana Visigothorum, sono corredate di Interpretationes che, però, rivelano differenze, le quali non sembrano frammentarie o casuali, bensì rivelatrici di una ratio coerente. Esaminando i commenti, infatti, si può ipotizzare che la Lex Romana Visigothorum concepisse la lex come una categoria astratta e generale, che doveva avere il requisito della conoscibilità. Le constituzioni scompaiono, sotto il profilo espressivo, e sono assorbite, nel contenuto, dalla lex.

    Anche il binomio leges et iura nella Interpretatio risulta in parte diverso rispetto al Codice Teodosiano; infatti, il cosiddetto diritto giurisprudenziale riveste una importanza di primo ordine nei commenti che spesso rivelano una vicinanza ad esso piuttosto che alle costruzioni imperiali.

    La distanza, sia territoriale sia ideale, dall'impero in Oriente si rivela tutta nelle Interpretationes, che, trasmesse nella prassi giudiziaria, in quella notarile e nelle leggi posteriori, costituiranno modelli normativi per il l'esperienza giuridica successiva.
