Resumen de Ductus torácico: vecino desconocido e incómodo.

  El ductus torácico (DT), conducto torácico o linfático, representa el tronco colector de todos los linfáticos del organismo excepto los procedentes del miembro superior derecho y la mitad derecha de cabeza, cuello y tórax. Desde el abdomen fusiona todos los troncos linfáticos infradiafragmáticos y accede al cuello por el triángulo de la arteria vertebral izquierda, desembocando en el confluente venoso yugulosubclavicular izquierdo, siendo su disposición muy variable. La visualización del mismo en el cuello durante la cirugía es rara, y la mayoría de las veces se muestra en el postoperatorio como quilorragia, una complicación incómoda. Presentamos la visualización del DT durante una disección radical cervical izquierda con una imagen poco frecuente y muy ilustrativa.

  The thoracic ductus (DT) represents the manifold of all lymphatic nodes in the body trunk except from the right upper limb and the right half of head, neck and chest. From the abdomen merges all lymphatic nodes and access logs infradiaphragmatic neck by the triangle of the left vertebral artery, leading to venous yugulosubclavicular left confluent, and its highly variable layout.

  The visualization of the neck during surgery is rare, and most often shown as chylerrhage postoperatively, an inconvenient complication.
