Este trabajo tiene por objetivo individualizar dos diagramas de proyección territorial de los grupos armados dependientes del estado nacional argentino en el último cuarto del siglo XIX. Un primer esquema de proyección está apoyado en el problema del ajuste final y permanente entre el estado y el espacio: la delimitación de fronteras y, por ende, de un territorio. A su vez, desde mediados de la anteúltima década pueden observarse indicaciones y proyectos que se apoyan en otra serie de cálculos, no expansivos, sino diseminativos en un interior. Las preocupaciones estarán puestas no en la soberanía territorial del estado, sino en la dotación y formación de recursos del propio ejército.

This paper aims to identify two diagrams of territorial projection of the Argentine armed groups dependent of the national state in the last quarter of the nineteenth century. A first projection scheme is supported by the problem of final and permanent adjustment between state and space: the demarcation of borders and therefore a territory. In turn, since de mid penultimate decade can be observed signs and projects that are supported by another set of calculations, not expansive but disseminative through an inland. Concerns will be placed not on the territorial sovereignty of the state but in the provision of resources and the training of the army itself.
