El artículo propone la idea del meme como nexo entre el sistema educativo y los nativos digitales. Se presenta su necesidad considerando el ámbito globalizante del internet y la cultura del meme, analizando el término, su utilidad y tipologías. Asimismo, se presentan tres propuestas teórico-prácticas para la asignatura de Lenguaje y Comunicación: como objeto lingüístico, como técnica de lectoescritura y como recurso literario.

The current article proposes the idea of meme as a link between the educational system and the digital natives. The need arises considering the globalizing field of internet meme culture, analyzing the term, its use and typologies. Likewise, three theoretical and practical proposals for the subject of Language and Communication are suggested: as a linguistic object, as a technical literacy and as a literary resource
