  O professor Gaudêncio Frigotto, da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro e da Universidade Federal Fluminense, é um dos mais eminentes educadores da atualidade brasileira e latino-americana. Seus estudos sobre a relação educação e trabalho são referência no campo da educação básica e das políticas de currículo. Esta entrevista, realizada em Chapecó-SC, discute as questões curriculares mais atuais da educação brasileira: o ensino médio técnico e integral e a Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC). Seu discurso reforça suas posições sobre a responsabilidade da escola pública de construir um ser humano omnilateral, via currículo integrado e integral e apresenta sua crítica sobre o processo de construção da BNCC, que se faz às avessas por ser eminentemente conservador, restritivo e penalizador à escola pública em detrimento da escola privada.   Teacher Gaudêncio Frigotto, from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and the Federal Fluminense University, is one of the most eminent educators of Brazil and Latin American actuality. His studies on the relationship education and work are a reference in the field of basic education and curriculum policies. This interview, held in Chapecó-SC, discusses the most current curricular issues of brazilian education: technical and integral secondary education and the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC). His speech reinforces his positions on the responsibility of the public school to build an all-round human being through an integrated and integral curriculum and presents his critique of the construction process of the BNCC, which is turned upside down for being eminently conservative, restrictive and penalizing the school to the detriment of private schools. Finally, in a prophetic tone, in analyzing the brazilian educational scene after a parliamentary coup d'état, teacher Frigotto announces the in clemencies that would come to fruition with the reform of secondary education via provisional measure 746/2016 and PEC 241/2016.
