Resumen de Influencia de los sistemas de información en la productividad de una institución privada de educación superior en México

  El trabajo de investigación es de carácter descriptivo, y está enfocado en principio a medir la relación de los sistemas de información con la productividad alcanzada en un estudio de caso de la Universidad del Valle de México, como una institución representativa por su tamaño, dimensiones, amplitud y cobertura. Los resultados indican que la productividad tiende a disminuir cuando el uso y aplicación de los sistemas de información para el cumplimiento de sus tareas; en la parte normativa cuando los responsables tienden a utilizar los reportes emitidos por los sistemas de información administrativa en su función administrativa, y en la parte estratégica cuando los directivos se apoyan con el uso de los sistemas de información para el proceso de toma de decisiones, facilitando el crecimiento, desarrollo y permanencia de la organización en el sector educativo.

  This research is descriptive and is focused to identify the its relationship with the productivity reached in the case of in the University of the valley of Mexico, like a representative Institution for its size, dimensions width and covering. The results shown that productivity reached is co-related with the use of the technologies of information, the productivity of an organization spreads to diminish when the use and application of the systems of information is given in form casuaistry and sporadicm and it is increased in the operative level when the workers make continuous use of the systems of information for the execution of their tasks, in the normative part when the responsible ones spread to use the reports emitted by the sytems of administrative information in its administrative function, and in the strategic part when the directive lean on with the use of the systems of information for the process of taking of decisions, facilitating the growth, development and permanency of the organization in the educational sector.
