Resumen de Discos circunestelares: la cuna de los planetas

Tomás Alonso Albi

  • From our own perspective the Universe is so big and old that we cannot realice most of the interconnected processes that led to the formation of the Earth. These events are still takin place all over the Galaxy, but until recently we did not have the right tools to disentagle them. This paper is a summary of our current understanding of the star formation process, with special attention to the first direct observations of circumstellar disks in which planets are born.
