  Entre el 21 y el 23 de octubre de 2014 tuvo lugar en la ciudad de La Plata el IV JUMIC: Congreso sobre Juventud, Medios e Industrias Culturales, organizado por la Facultad de Periodismo y Comunicación Social de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, y del que participaron más de 60 panelistas, 170 ponentes y casi 800 docentes, investigadores y estudiantes de diferentes partes de América Latina y del Caribe.El IV JUMIC se planteó como una nueva instancia para debatir sobre la relación de la juventud y la política desde el campo de los medios de comunicación, cómo los medios enuncian los diversos vínculos y cómo reflejan las tensiones en dicho campo.

  Between 21 and 23 October 2014 took place in the city of La Plata the IV Jumic : Congress on Youth, Media and Cultural Industries , organized by the Faculty of Journalism and Social Communication of the National University of La Plata , and which more than 60 speakers, 170 speakers and almost 800 teachers, researchers and students from different parts of Latin America and the Caribbean.The IV Jumic raised as a new instance to discuss the relationship of youth and politics from the field of media, how the media set out the various links and how they reflect the tensions in this field.
