Se ofrece aquí una introducción general a la sección monográfica donde se publican los resultados de la mesa redonda “Justicia medieval”, celebrada el 11 de noviembre de 2015 en la Universidad Complutense. Junto con una breve apreciación de las cuatro contribuciones relacionadas con dicha sesión científica, se proporcionan asimismo algunas consideraciones generales sobre el alcance del tema de la justicia en tiempos medievales, tal como aparece tratado en la investigación reciente.

This is the general introduction to the monographic section publishing the results of the roundtable “Medieval Justice”, which was held at Universidad Complutense on November 11th, 2015. It is given here a short appreciation of the four contributions related to the aforementioned scientific session, along with some general considerations on the scope of the topic of justice in medieval times, as envisaged by recent research.
