Resumen de Ensino, pesquisa e extensão para a inclusão das pessoas com lesão medular traumática

  O artigo apresenta o trabalho realizado por professores, acadêmicos e voluntários dos cursos de graduação em Enfermagem e Educação Física da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), no qual o ensino, a pesquisa e a extensão são articulados e integrados. A partir do objetivo de atender a pessoas com lesão medular e suas famílias desde o momento da internação em unidades de terapia intensiva, até a alta hospitalar e o retorno para suas casas, são realizadas diversas atividades contemplando a discussão e a reflexão teórica sobre este tema – lesão medular - até a prática do cuidado e reabilitação destas pessoas. O respectivo trabalho transita entre os diversos níveis de complexidade do sistema de saúde no Brasil, da alta complexidade até atenção básica, nos quais acadêmicos e professores atuam e interagem com esta parcela populacional. Desta maneira, há o aprendizado coletivo antes, durante e após a ação, numa relação dialética entre ação e reflexão sobre uma realidade concreta. Nesta relação dialógica, todos aprendem, pessoa com lesão medular, seus familiares, professores e acadêmicos. Consubstancia numa forma peculiar do processo ensino-aprendizagem que integra na essência o ensino, a pesquisa e a extensão.

  The article presents the work of teachers, academics and volunteers of undergraduate courses in Nursing and Physical Education, by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), in which the teaching, research and extension are articulated and integrated. From the goal of meeting people with spinal cord injuries and their families from the time of admission to the intensive care unit until hospital discharge and return to their homes, are carried out various activities contemplating the discussion and theoretical reflection on this topic - spinal cord injury - to the practice of care and rehabilitation of these people. Its work moves between the different levels of complexity of the health system in Brazil, the high complexity to primary care, in which students and teachers work and interact with this part of the population. Thus, there is a collective learning before, during and after the action, a dialectical relationship between action and reflection on a concrete reality. This dialogic relationship, everyone learns, people with spinal cord injuries, their families, teachers and academics. Constitutes a peculiar form of the teaching-learning process that integrates the essence teaching, research and extension.
