Resumen de Representações midiáticas do MST: entre censuras e potências da mídia

  The MST, like other social movements, is not always properly reported, causing militants to be prejudiced and the aggressions received, which end up being naturalized. The importance of this fact becomes visible in that it is recognized that in portraying subjects of public interest, media exerts influence on society, producing discourses that have repercussions on the formation of the collective imaginary, often consolidating distorted images. To identify means by which two sites of different types of media make their framing, four news items were analyzed -two from the G1 and two from the official MST website -related to the events of April 7, 2016, involving the Military Police and militants of the MST, camped in Quedas do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil. This work has as premise that in the alternative or radical media and in strategies like the communication for peace can be found other options to the communication, opening space for different groups and messages

  O MST, como outros movimentos sociais, não costuma ser noticiado de forma adequada, fazendo com que os militantes sejam alvo de preconceitos e as agressões recebidas, que acabam sendo naturalizadas. A gravidade desse fato se faz visível na medida em que se reconhece que, ao retratar assuntos de interesse público, o jornalismo exerce influência sobre a sociedade, produzindo discursos que repercutem na formação do imaginário coletivo, muitas vezes consolidando imagens deturpadas. Buscando identificar meios pelos quais dois sites de diferentes tipos de mídia fazem seu enquadramento, foram analisadas quatro notícias – duas do G1 e duas do site oficial do MST – relativas a fatos do dia 7 de abril de 2016, envolvendo a Policia Militar e militantes do MST, acampados em Quedas do Iguaçu, Paraná. Este trabalho tem como premissa que na mídia alternativa ou radical e em estratégias como a Comunicação Para a Paz podem ser encontradas opções à comunicação tendenciosa, abrindo espaço para diferentes grupos e mensagens.
