Praecipio firmiter, Francisco de Asís en Tommaso da Celano: ¿dureza o ductilidad?

    Este trabajo se propone indagar sobre la construcción del personaje “Francisco” que hace Tommaso da Celano en relación a la posible –o no – dureza del fraile a la hora de imponer castigos. Por otro lado, nos proponemos analizar cuáles son aquellas situaciones conflictivas en las cuales Francisco, a la luz de su biógrafo, considera ameritada una punición. Por fin, se pretende examinar el rol del castigo/amonestación en el marco de las hagio-biografías.

    This work aims to investigate the construction of the character “Francisco” that Tommaso da Celano making in relation to the possible —or not— hardness when the friar imposed punishments.

    On the other hand, we propose to analyze what are those conflict situations in which Francisco, in the light of his biographer, considered good one punishment. Finally, it aims to examine the role of punishment / warning in the context of the hagio-biographies and the dialogue that can be established with the context of production of the same.
