Este trabajo se ocupa de algunos problemas religiosos y eclesiásticos de la revuelta de las Comunidades de Castilla a partir de la participación del obispo de Zamora Antonio de Acuña. En el marco de los estudios asociados a las relaciones entre carisma e institución, se destaca tanto la dimensión mesiánica del liderazgo de Acuña como los posibles problemas eclesiológicos de su nombramiento como arzobispo de Toledo. Por último, el análisis del uso de la eucaristía por parte del obispo concluye una aproximación a la dimensión religiosa de la Revuelta Comunera.
This article deals with some religious and ecclesiastical topics of the revolt of the Comunidades of Castile regarding the role of the bishop of Zamora, Antonio of Acuña. In connection with the history of relations between charism and institution, this paper pays special attention both to the messianic dimension of Acuña's leadership and to the ecclesiological problems of his appointment as archbishop of Toledo. The analysis of the use of the Eucharist by the Bishop concludes this approach to the religious dimension of the Comunero Revolt.
