    El presente artículo pretende analizar la extracción geográfica y social de las mujeres de los centuriones que pasaron por la legio III Augusta. Esta cuestión se abordará con la finalidad de intentar averiguar si la elección de la pareja pudo haber estado influenciada por el origen geográfico, y, de ser así, si esta tendencia fue homogénea, o, si por el contrario, experimentó cambios a lo largo del tiempo. Del mismo modo, intentará verse cuál o cuáles fueron los principales medios sociales de los que los centuriones eligieron a sus cónyuges.

    The aim of this article is to analyze the geographical and social extraction of the wives of the centurions from the legio III Augusta. This topic will be addressed in order to find out if the election of the partner could have been influenced by the geographical origin and, in that case, if that tendency was homogeneous or underwent changes over time. We will also try to see which were the main social environments where the centurions chose their spouses.
