Resumen de Plan de Promoción Turística para el cantón San Lorenzo del Pailón, provincia de Esmeraldas

  El objetivo principal de la investigación fue diseñar un plan de promoción turística para el Cantón San Lorenzo del Pailón, Provincia de Esmeraldas, que favorezca una mayor afluencia de turistas y mejorar la calidad de vida de los pobladores. El Cantón posee una riqueza natural y cultural de signifcativa importancia, por ello, primero, se elaboraron las fchas de inventario de atractivos del Ministerio de Turismo, para identifcar los lugares con mayor potencialidad para las actividades turísticas. Se evidenció que en el cantón se pueden realizar actividades turísticas, pero los pobladores no han sabido aprovechar los recursos que les ofrece la naturaleza, limitando que se posicione como un referente turístico, por esta razón se espera que, por medio de la promoción, este cantón se convierta en un icono turístico potencial.

  The main objective of this research is to design a Tourism Promotion plan for San Lorenzo del Pailón County in Esmeraldas Province for increasing the volume of tourists and improving the quality of life of the local residents. The county holds significant natural and cultural wealth, and thus inventories were prepared regarding attractions specified by Ministry of Tourism in order to identify the locations with the greatest potential.

  Tourism activities are available, but the residents are not aware of how to take advantage of the resources that nature offers, and therefore the County has not been able to position itself as a point of reference for Tourism, and it is hoped that the promotion of the county will convert it into a potential tourism icon.
