Resumen de La nueva proyección del Museo de Arte Abstracto Español de Cuenca y su relación con el turismo

  En el presente artículo se analizará la situación turística de la ciudad de Cuenca, una de las quince ciudades españolas Patrimonio de la Humanidad, ya que pese a ser una ciudad que cuenta con todos los elementos para ser un destino turístico idóneo, su turismo se vio fuertemente afectado durante la crisis económica que afectó a España, con un caída en el número de visitantes. Por ello pretendemos analizar cuáles fueron las causas concretas de ese descenso, así como su recuperación.

  La ciudad de Cuenca cuenta con uno de los museos de arte abstracto más importantes de Europa, el Museo de Arte Abstracto Español de Cuenca, en el cual se llevó a cabo una reforma con el fi n de mejorar los servicios y aumentar su público. En este texto trataremos también de ver el antes y el después, así como las mejoras que podría aplicar para ofrecer un mejor servicio al visitante. Y por ende, al turismo.

  The present report will analyze the situation of the tourism sector of the city of Cuenca, one out of fi fteen World Heritage Cities in Spain. Despite being a city with all the necessary elements to be a suitable touristic destination, its tourism was strongly affected during the economic crisis, thataffected Spain with a drop in the number of visitors. For this reason, weaims to analyze the specifi c causes of this decline, as well as its recovery.

  On the other hand, the city of Cuenca has one of the most important museums of abstract art in Europe, the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art of Cuenca, which has recently been renovated to improve its services and increase its public.
