Como é a escrita das crianças diagnosticadas com dislexia?: Uma reflexão neurolinguística

    Starting from the theoretical and methodological assumptions of the Neurolinguistic of discursive orientation, this article proposes a reflection on how normal difficulties of the process of acquisition of reading and writing have been frequently seen as symptoms of dyslexia. We analyze the so-called trades of vowels in writing as constitutive instabilities of learning and hypotheses built by the child who is not yet familiar with the arbitrariness of the orthographic system. We point, therefore, to the pathologization of the process of reading and writing and to the negative implications that a diagnosis that ignores the language specific characteristics might have in children’s lives

    Partindo dos pressupostos teóricos e metodológicos da Neurolinguística de orientação discursiva, este artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre como dificuldades normais do processo de aquisição de leitura e escrita têm sido frequentemente interpretadas como sintomas de dislexia. Analisaremos as chamadas trocas na escrita como instabilidades constitutivas do aprendizado e hipóteses construídas pela criança que ainda não está familiarizada com as arbitrariedades do sistema ortográfico. Apontamos, portanto, para a de patologização do processo da leitura e da escrita e para as implicações negativas que um diagnóstico que desconsidere questões próprias da língua pode ter na vida das crianças
