  • An Imerys spokesperson told IM : "We were trading Chinese material going into refractories, so it was not core in any case. We prefer to focus on core activities like mullite, andalusite fused silica and white fuse alumina." "This change will bring benefits to our customers, our partners and our company," [Imerys] said in a statement, adding that the refocusing of efforts on key products will "strengthen its service and support the refractory industry".
