  • Resumen
    • Over the past few years, Applied Minerals has generated a substantial amount of interest globally in its Dragonite-branded halloysite and Amiron-branded iron oxide products. I was hired to lead the expansion of the sales effort to handle the significant customer interest in the company's products. Dragonite, in particular, is sold into high value and complex applications, which often require a significant amount of collaboration between our technical sales organisation and the customer.

Our iron oxide is unique in that it is an advanced natural iron oxide - meaning that it is uncharacteristically pure for natural iron oxide. In addition, the primary particles are similar in size to most synthetically produced iron oxides. We have been able to produce both opaque and semi-transparent pigment grades from our resource. Thus, we see a big opportunity for our pigments in applications from wood stains on the high end to coloured mulch.
